|
|
Is it possible to change the speed camera warning tone on my TomTom 710. I do NOT have the pocket GPS database yet, i'm aware that I can change the warning sounds on POIs but the standard TomTom speedcamera database does not appear to give me the option to access the POI sounds 'bugle' 'moo' 'polite1' etc
Thanks in advance! |

on mine its NOT done through the main preferences, you need to alter them by going through the following menus;
Tomtom services then Tomtom safety cameras then change warning preferences _________________ TomTom ONE Series 30 (v8) & TMC traffic
App 8.010, UK & ROI Map v860.3126, TT Home 2.7.6.2056

My 710 doesn't seem to have the same menus. I have to go MENU then TOM TOM PLUS SERVICES and then SAFETY CAMERAS which brings me up the screen with the speed camera options but there seems to be no option to change the tone. Am i just being a dimwit or what? |

Eh? What do you mean? I'm trying to change the noise for the speed camera warning alert. |

The last reply you got in this thread has been removed by me as it was one of a series posted by someone posting spam.
What version of Navcore have you got installed to your 710 (Tap the sat strength meter followed by the version box, the resultant screen will offer plenty of information about the device including the version number - Mike |
