Hi All
First post!!, I have a go720, I have just updated the to the latest european maps
They are more than the 2gig internal HD can handle
I have had to uses a new 4gig hs sd card (Quality Jap one)
Everything works fine. Both drives are seen by TT home.
My question is how do I read the sd card through my PC as My Computer only sees the internal drive and I need to reinstall the speed camera POI's
or do I need a new 4 gig card reader?? my existing one will not read the new card
Many Thanks |

hi and welcome to gps world.
best way to see the sd card with your computer is close home and click on my computer (if you have a shortcut on your desktop) if not go to start in bottom left of screen and left click and you shoud see computer or my computer on right. left click it and it will open a box with all your drives on it. c is the main drive and you should see 2 more. one for your tom tom and the other for your removable disk sd card.
its recomended theat the sd card is a class 6 card.

Actually it's your second post, but as the first one was Friday the 13th (May 2005) you may have expunged it from your memory!
Sounds like you do need a new card reader. You can get a quite decent USB one fairly cheaply these days due to competition from built in ones - virtually every new PC or laptop has an up to date reader. Maybe you've got a Maplins near you, but anyway that'll give you an idea about availability and cost. _________________ Dennis
