Tomtom Installation problem

Hi All

Wonder if someone can help me. I'm installing Tomtom navigator on my pda, but I only have 32MB memory on it. So I got the software installed ok, but when I tried to install a map (16Mb) it said not enough disk space.

So what I did was to install the maps to my pc and then copy the folder and maps to my pda, this worked. But when I try to run navigator on my pda it says maps are not installed.

Please could someone tell me which folder I should be copying it too and if my idea is ok.

Is 32 MB all you have? No storage card at all? That's tough...

The map folder must have a specific name. What you can do is install the map onto a folder on your PC and then copy the complete folder structure of that map to your PocketPC, into the \Program Files\TomTom Navigator directory.

If TomTom still cannot find the maps then you need to use a registry editor and adjust the path accordingly there.

Again, you will have to expect little to no joy with this setup. Just not enough RAM for TomTom to run satisfactorily. I'd recommend you get a storage card and install everything (including the TomTom program ) there.
