Has anyone here got the SatMap cycle mount and the vehicle mount?
We've just dusted off our bikes after 15 months of chaos (this included moving house, getting married and having a baby) and I want a couple of bike mounts for my bike and our tandem.
I bought the veicle mount for the van (great for obscure locations for my job), and looking at the pictures on SatMap's site, it seems to be the same T-section mating connector as the cycle mount. The question is, can I use the same battery-cover "back" that came with the vehicle mount, with the cycle mount?
It seems pointless buying the cycle "back" if this is the case, especially as SatMap sell the bracket on its own. I've emailed SatMap, but not received a reply yet, can anybody confirm or deny this before they do?
Many thanks... _________________ planet nine
