Anybody that like me has created a set of custom colours for the map display mode of ttn3 ( say to have Motorways displayed in Blue) may like to know that is is also possible to customise the map colours for the "Traffic" display mode.
Simply locate and edit the traffic.clr file located in the TomTom application folder on your PDA.
I have maintained the Grey/pale look and feel by just changing the road colours keeping everything else at the default colour values.
Hope this helps

For those that haven't come across the .CLR file editor, it can be found here. It's free software.
I used it to change the mid grey colour used for most of the text in ANTARCTICA.CLR, the colour file I use for night time use. At the angle I view my iPAQ 3970's screen, the mid grey was too dark to be visible. Lightening this one colour considerably helps a lot.
Bob - you don't need a custom colour file to get motorways in blue - just use Britannica instead of the default Astra.

David, Thanks for the pointer to this App, very handy as I was making RGB edits is Notepad until today.
You are correct in that the Motorways are already in Blue if " Brittana " is selected in the properties page. However, erm, I only "noticed" the ability to select predefined colour schemes after I had worked out how to edit .clr files, by that time I had adapted my own scheme to match the Road Atlas that I had used for years.
