Is it just me? Of the last six e-mails I've sent them, they only replied to one. The telephone thing, is, I suppose, understandable, usual wait 20 to 25 minutes, or until I get fed up.
Currently, I've been without a full service from my unit due to inability to re-install software. Many e-mails and telephone calls have been made, but still no joy.
I do like the 550 when it's fully usable, I can still use it on the bike and in the car (without up to date POIs), but I'm unable to plan any routes and when I get the routes sent to me for a holiday in Germany, I'll be unable to use them.
Does anyone else have a problem contacting them? Is there another way? Shall I go and knock on their door?

They seem to be a lot better on the phone (eventually, as you say!) than in emails. As I'm a bit deaf but have a 'free calls' phone package, I have a phone with a loadspeaker option. Once or twice I've eaten my dinner/had a few cups of tea until someone notices the ringing tone/recorded voice has changed to a genuine human voice - I think the longest wait was about 40 minutes, and the usually very helpful answer was then another 1 or 2 at most! _________________ David
