In our ongoing efforts to improve TomTom Navigator for PalmOS, we are proud to present the free update to version 4.10. Enhanced since version 4.00, this new version offers:
· faster address search
· much faster POI search (especially when searching for POIs by name)
· the capability to plan an alternative route VIA another location
· the option to avoid part of a route that you want to navigate around
· more consistent colour schemes throughout the application
· minor fixes for activation of Major Roads of Europe, including the option to store this map on a separate SD card
· when searching for recent or favourite locations, names that start with the search text are now listed first, followed by names that contain the search text
· when the direction arrow on the bottom left is touched at any time, the next driving instruction will be spoken
· the option to show the distance or time from your location, for each instruction in the table of Route Instructions
· the option to hide the clock, change the time, or synchronize your clock with the satellite time
· dimming of instructions that you have already followed in the instruction browser
· the possibility to use "classical" icons (as used in the PocketPC version)
· several minor improvements to the GPS driver.
· several fixes for minor issues that have been discovered since the release of version 4.0, most notably one that could erroneously produce a “no route possible” message when calculating a route.

Has anyone else had problems getting the update to work on their Tungsten T3? I know Hotsync is working correctly, the update just doesn't seem to work!
