|
|
I have now started to use the PGPSW camera database on a TomTom ONE v3 and a TomTom XL Live. It seems at the moment I get date from both the PGPSW database and some from TomTom, often at the same time.
Is there any way I can totally disable the TomTom information? _________________ Dave R (h5djr)

I just viewed the contents of my GO520 via HOME and deleted the TomTom cameras from there. |

You can disable the TomTom warnings on the device or for a permenant solution so they can't be switched back on remove the files from the map folder using Windows Explorer:
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2.dct
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.Ov2.ver
If its a European model there will be plenty of other camera related files to prune from the map folder - Mike |

Hi,
Could you please explain how to disable the warnings without deleting the Safety_Cam files. I can't find the Safety_Cameras in POIs or elsewhere on the 750 unit.

Doh!
Thanks PaulB2005 for your prompt response. I'm just trying out the downloaded PGPSW camera alerts.
