Hi Folks
I have a Tomtom 720 and wouldn’t swap it for any other model. Its brilliant.
However, I also have an IPhone and the other day I downloaded an App navigation programme called NDrive. It only cost £5.00, works like a charm and I have found it extremely handy when I haven’t got my Tomtom with me. There is a big difference between £5.00 and the price of a new map from Tomtom.
I only mention all this because Tomtom must remain on the ball if it wants to stay ahead. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Problem with iPhone is multi-tasking - NOT. You can't run a nav program and pgpsw CamerAlert side by side. Fingers crossed, people say a multi-tasking update is about to arrive over the horizon. _________________ Dennis

iPhone v4.0 software will have mult-taking and is due for release fairly soon. Possibly June/July?
I currently have access to a developer version and it looks pretty good. _________________ Device: GO 600, Live connected via iPhone 5.

Join the club, still not clear if the famed multi-tasking will allow our app and a nav app to run concurrently though. _________________ Darren Griffin |
