Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but The Hug OS maps are now hosted on www.walkhighlands.co.uk/maps with the added advantage that 1:25K maps are also there. You need to register (free), then if you zoom in on the 1:50K it will switch to 1:25K. You can plan a route and export as a GPX. Easier than the Satmap route planner as it is full screen. |

Worked OK for me, and looks pretty easy to use.
Not sure how you would know the route planning / mapping pages exist from the sites homepage though as I cannot see an obvious link. However typing in the home page address and adding '/maps' on the end gets you there. |

From the home page, GPS planner button takes you to the maps.
