Thank you for your advice. I had already found the instructions you referred me to. My problem is carrying out Item 2 "Extract the files from the .zip that is downloaded". My computer appears unable to handle csv files and I have been unable to find anything (not costing more money) on the Web that will do it. Gratefull for any suggestions. |

You don't need to open them. Just unzip the downloaded folder and follow the instructions for transferring the contents to your device. _________________ Anita

To extract the files from the .zip folder, try a Google search for WinRar, links also to be found in other posts on this Forum. .csv files are quite basic and every computer should be able to handle them by default. To delete the files you do not need just use WindowsExplorer or equivalent. Free, powerful, lightweight text editors and spreadsheets are AbiWord and Gnumeric, both of these can handle .csv files and can be downloaded with an internet search.
EDIT - Anita is correct, the files once un-zipped do not need to be opened just transferred so you do not need to use AbiWord or Gnumeric for the cameras, but if your Computer truly cannot use .csv files at the moment, I suggest you download them both because they will be useful in the future. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
