I might be looking at this all wrong but......
How do I search for a postcode address in TT3?
The Dave Burrows review show a screenshot of the 'Navigate to' page and a postcode box is clearly shown. When I click the 'navigate to' box it's different with no 'postcode' option shown!
Am I doing something wrong?

Be aware that the program itself only supports partial postcodes - that is, without the last two letters.
Further, the address lookup in Navigator 3 is somewhat broken - read my 'open letter' to TomTom for details (I will try over the next couple of days to make contact with TomTom's CEO to see if I can move this forwards).

Hi BJ,
The screen that you refer to is accessed from "Contacts" (Pocket Outlook) - you can see this screen if you tap and hold on one of your Contacts and you will be presented with this same screen. This is to allow you to navigate straight from your Contacts instead of having to go into TTN and type in the address info again.
If you are looking for full Postcode navigation with TomTom then I would really recommend you download the freebie postcode application from Digitools (you can download it from this forum) - many TomTom users on this forum use it - look at the great comments about it on previous topics/threads. It supports the full postcode (TTN3 only provides partial postcodes routing) and works like a dream - if you haven't got it already then check it out!!

I agree with Tom, download the Postcode plug in from
http://www.digitools.co.uk
and you'll never use anything else for nagitation using postcodes.

I too would definitely go for the excellent Digitools Postcode plug-in, I have just used it to get to a B&B in Hampshire and it took me to the door (quite literally!). It is amazing how well it works. |

Yep - the link to the site is a couple of posts up from yours!! Just follow the installation instructions - it works like a dream on either TTN2 or 3! |

Thanks folks, it's a cracking bit of add-on.
