Hello all.
Due to a hardware problem on my HTC hero (It was stuck in headset on mode) Orange have given me a new phone FOC in a 24 hr turnaround. All very good, but I wish to set up CoPilot 8 on this new phone.
I have my purchase key, but upon reading into it I think I should have de-registered befored trying to upload another copy :]
Can anyopne offer me guidance before I go wading into this any deeper pls?
Also a download link would be appreciated. I had just UK & Ire.
TIA.

Hi,
Not sure if i can completely help, but:
If you haven't purchased Copilot via the marketplace (like me), ALK offer the download here:
http://www.alk.eu.com/copilotlive/androidinstall/
As for the licence key - I think you'll have to phone ALK (0871 6412 540) and get them to deactivate, before you can activate on your new Hero. I think once its activate d, its linked to your phone.
Hope that helps.

Hi Matt - I think I have just answered something from you on Android forums!
AFAIK if you have purchased from the market then it will offer you a new download as soon as you log with your same Google account - paid for apps are linked through your Google account.
If outside of the market then the previous poster's advice I guess. _________________ Peter

I must have bought via market as it recognised me as a purchaser, it even had my purchase number set as autofill. All I did was a quick search for ALK, the version I originally bought and the rest was done in minutes.
All very good.
Technology is a times bloody good!
