TT have emailed me to let me know that new maps are available. Now last time I did this I lost all my saved poi's, favourites, voices, cams etc. Basically I ended up with a TTXL with a clean install.
Somebody did mention how to avoid this by saving one of the files with the required info within it, can somebody tell me which file that was please. |

MapSettings.cfg which you will find in the old map folder, it might make the unit conatantly re-boot if you put the old MapSettings.cfg file in to the new map folder, connect the device to Home and alter a favourite and it should be OK after that - Mike |

If you convert you favorites into a POI category, you won't need to faf about when you do a map update, as they won't get overwritten. |
