loading tomtom onto pda

hi there all what would stop or be the problem when i try and install tomtom to my pda it gets half way through then shuts my pc down very frustrating and also can some one please tell me where to get the gps driver from ipaq 3970 tomtom gps reciver .. the one that sorts out the reading of the storage card properly

Install the application only first.

Then install the maps to your hard disc. Manually copy (ideally using a card reader) to your storage card.

thanks but i dont have a card reader i have a storage card in the top of my ipaq

that worked thanks i put it on hard drive first
now i just need the update because its not reading my maps on the storage card that well i have a compaq ipaq 3970
