I recently purchased a Cydle T43H and love it. I have a Navigon 7200t that I used extensively until I found the T43H.
This unit has free HD traffic, HD radio, movie player, junction view, and speed warnings. I found it at Cydle.com, although it's at Amazon as well.
Has anyone had any experience with this GPS? I would like to hear your experiences with it. It's new to the U.S. |

That brand's a new one on me. Not been seen in the UK as far as I know
Incidentally, when I followed the link....
"HD Radio"?
What's that? Is it what they're calling DAB in the US? Have they only just got it?

You might want to check this forum for more info:
http://forums.gpsreview.net/viewtopic.php?t=17350
Also, the Cydle website:
cydle.com
HD is High Definition. It's just coming to the U.S.
This is probably the best GPS I've seen yet. It has the most potential of all the others, IMO. It's not perfect, but their support is great. Graphics are incredible.
Free lifetime TMC traffic, HD radio, movie player, etc. for less than $230. |

The HD is a reference to the HD Radio delivery mechanism. When they say HD traffic they do not mean enhanced or better traffic as it would imply, just normal traffic info delivered over the HD radio network. _________________ Mike Barrett |

That's correct to a point. However, HD traffic info is delivered MUCH faster/quicker than regular TMC. And no subscription fees. In my tests with Garmin and Navigon, it is indeed enhanced. In addition, the other features on this unit such as choice of day/night map colors, speed limit sign and verbal warning, route management, etc., is well worth the cost. Also, the graphics are very nice and the street fonts are crisp and clear. |

Any Cydle T43H users out there? Another gps forum has almost 4,000 posts about this unit.
Personally I like it, but I would like to hear from others who have purchased and tested it. Any problems reported yet? |

As I said, it's not been seen in the UK as far as I know, and although this forum is "international" the majority of regular posters are predominantly UK-based.
In fact, after a quick Google, I can't find any mention of it at all on any UK websites other than those that have posted the CES launch in their news pages. No a single one for sale. |

Western Europe maps are an option for this device though so it would be interesting to see how it performs over on this side of the "Pond" also the Traffic system probably wouldn't work over here as the USA employs a different set up to Europe, looks an interesting device all the same.
Not seen any European outlets selling it as yet though - Mike |

Sorry Andy - put me down as faint-hearted. I gave up after googling it and couldn't find the forum with 4,000 posts about it. Most reviews I read seemed less enthusiastic than the OP.
Jackie77 I suggest you read the 4,000 for their opinions. Or send us a sample to PocketGPSWorld for test and review? _________________ Dennis

Hits without posts is "What the heck is that all about?" and when they get there (hit) they walk away uninterested. The earlier misleading comment about 4,000 posts on another forum seemed like criticism of this forum where there have been none. The only person on this forum who seems interested in the Cydle T43H is the person who opened this topic as a first post, so attracts wonderment as to what's the motive behind the post? _________________ Dennis
