That is a VERY good offer if you were going to buy a LIVE enabled device in the near future.
I am surprised that this is not being advertised more than this one tomtom website.

Hmmm, wonder what they mean by this. As I have a registered 940 does that mean I could not claim under my own details? That would be poor show if it was the case. |

Why would you downgrade from a 940 to a 950?
It is a promotion to sell Live Devices so they are not going to give it to people who already have them. It is a better offer than the £50 pre-pay card they gave when I bought the 940. _________________ Drivelux |

And as they are giving the subscription away free with the device they won't have to offer any subscription extensions for when the server crashes and you are without Live services

They are giving this away because TT Live Services never works.
Think I will stick to GPRS traffic which works great for me on my 930. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

bought my 950 live on the 5th feb from amazon with 12 months subscription to live services for a total of £280 its crap dont waste your money wait 6-12 months until all the crap is sorted i.e.
constantly knocking off
no mobile sped cameras
petrol/fuel services 5 days+ out of date
but a road angel professional instead keep your existing sat nav
sending mine back will be using the 920 or 700 instead |

Three months LIVE and up to £50 free petrol was a much better inducement when I bought my x40. |

It would be nice if there was an upgrade from old devices since many of us bought systems like my 720 on the basis of there being a LIVE ready power supply in the offing only to find out 4 months later that it would never see the light of day. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
