Hello all Happy New Year I have a TomTom GO 730 T. However the receiver is playing up it's the one with the small jack plug. Am looking to replace it but not at £49.99 as per the price lists any suggestions please?
Thanks

Have a look on ebay. You should be able to pick up a direct replacement cheaply. However you may want to look at the 'newer' receiver that has the mini-USB termination. I use one of these on my 720 and it is very good indeed - esp when connected to an external aerial.

Please could you explain how you can use the mini USB version on the jack plug TT. I have the 920 and the traffic receiver has been playing up.
TIA
Steve

Steve, with the mini USB RDS-TMC it simply plugs in where the power connector is normally fitted, your power lead is then plugged in to the body of the RDS-TMC, power is supplied first to the RDS device which intur provides the power and dat to the TomTom, will work fine on your 920 - Mike
