correct power cable for the medion ppc

Hello all,
I have just purchased tomtom 3 navigator for my medion pocket pc, because medion navigator didn't seem to good. Now even with the new tomtom navigator there seems to be a delay with the instructions given. I was wondering if this could be down to the gps receiver being crap as there is nothing within the windscreen to hinder performance. If this is the case then could someone please advise as to where i could purchase a better receiver that is compatible with the medion ppc. The one that came with the tomtom requires an rj45 socket on the power cable to be able to plug the gps receiver into, but I've been unable to find a suitable cable to do this, even after contacting tomtom to which they haven't replied as yet!
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
