I've set the distance at 1000yds, and they sometimes, (note, sometimes) show up. But why does the ding dong also not operate at the chosen distance, instead of right on top of the camera.? And where does my ding dong come from ? I can't see how I put it in or how I can change it. |

The 'Ding Dong' does sound AT the camera.
The 'Attention! Safety camera' warning is set in Menu/Settings/Safety Alerts.
Don't forget to select 'Display Safety Alerts' as well as selecting a distance. |

In my experience (on Android) is that the "ding" is played in close proximity to the camera, but not precisely at the location. The "Attention safety camera" prompt is always played at the distance configured. You may not always get a warning for a cameras depending from which way you are approaching it (at least for the Android version and I think the iPhone version too); many are "directional" and will only be warned one way. |

Wouldn't it be more sensible to have them both together ? |
