Swapping SD cards

I have a spare unused 4GB SDHC card, class 4, which would be suitable for one of my devices. Question is, can I swap cards at will in my device?

The idea being that I could have a different Map and software in each for use in different vehicle types. Just a thought.

Yes you can certainly have different software and map versions on different cards and swap them in and out.
I do it quite often when I'm being "daddy's taxi" for my daughter, as I've got a game on the TT which only works on v7 software.

The only problem is that every time I switch over, I have to re-do all the basic setups like left/right handed, map colour scheme choose a voice etc.
whether I would still have to do that if I was only switching between two different v8 software versions I don't know.
