After *many* repairs the power lead inside the case of my Mio 168 has failed beyond repair and I've thrown it in the bin, in anger. Just as I was thinking of upgrading my version of Copilot from v6 to v8.

So I now have a chance to get a "brand shiny new" SatNav ~ what to go for?

I have two needs; finding (to the nearest house number) addresses and being guided to them via the sanest route (CoPilot was good at the former, and occasionally good at the latter)

Walking about with my GPS and later downloading the track to merge with the metadata on my camera so I can location stamp my pictures. I need a minimum of about 3 hours battery life.

Suggestions (and cheapest sources) please ...

Regards Paul
