Hi All

I am trying to download the speed camera database (v7.111 04.09.09) from the download page.

I am a new user so haven't downloaded it before.

I am clicking on the "Download Same Format" button and I get the following error :

"You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') AND include ='yes'' at line 1"

Do I need to state which version of satnav system I have and use that link to download the database ? If so this is going to be used on a Nissan Connect system, but I can't see that in the drop down list ?

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

Hi and welcome.

The Download Same Format button is designed to be used when you have already downloaded a copy so you don't have to go through the selection procedure each time.

According to the instructions here the Nissan Connect System used Other - CSV database.

So below that Download Same Format button select "Other - CSV" from the drop down list. Click Continue and then chose the database type you want. Again according to the instructions "Single File with all cameras" is the one you want. Next week you'll be able to repeat that by just clicking Download Same Format.

Hi again, sorry, just one other quick question.

I have followed the instructions and placed file

pocketgps_uk_sc.csv in the following folder structure :

x:\myPOIs\myPOIWarnings

What about the .bmp file which the instrcutions say to download but not delete ? Does the file eventually go somewhere ?

As the instrcutions just state :

"Copy the .csv file downloaded in Step 1 into the myPOIWarnings folder on the mass storage device. "

But never mention the .bmp file ? I imagine it must go somewhere ?

Thank you

I don't think the Nissan system uses the .bmp file. Try without, if not, copy to same folder as the .csv file?

Hi Darren, you are quite correct - I placed the bmp file in the same folder as the .csv file - uploaded the POI's to the Satnav unit, all were accepted without issue, however you don't see the speedcameras bmp on the map - just a warning notice appearing on the screen when you come up to a camera which shows the type and location of the camera.....

Thanks for all your help chaps....
