My TT One Will not connect to TT home 2.7. The Device is visible on the computer and I can see all the files on the device. I have tried, resetting the TT one, Disconnecting and reconnecting, restarting the PC, a different lead, and TT home does pickup my TT Go930. Any ideas would be gratetfully received

You will need to establish from your friend if it has ever been connected because each device has to have a unique email account created for it. I don't know from there how you would connect on your PC if the account was created by your friend using his/her email account that needs the real experts to answer. |

I think TT Home should still see the device, however have created a sperate account on a seperate PC using TT Home 2.7 but the device is still not being detected by TT Home the PC has detected it and its internal file structure is visible. |

If its an old One then this quote from a thread a couple of years old might be of use:
mikealder wrote: | I have seen this fault once before and it was down to a file that required changing in the root of the memory card, you will need to contact TomTom on Monday 0845 161 0009 explain the problem and they will e-mail the new file over which allows Home to see the older TomTom One devices.
The file is called "system" and resides in the root of the memory card, the one that doesn't work is 683KB and the new one that cures the fault is 667KB - Mike |
Have a look at that specific file and its file size, if its not the newer size give them a ring and ask them to e-mail it over - Mike |
