I have just downloaded the latest Speed Cameara Database (13/01/10).
I notice the file format seems to have changed e.g. previous file pocketgps_uk_gatso_70_csv is now Pocketgps_sv_Gatso_seventy_gpx.
This is the first time I have used Ash's updated Camera Manager to download the database.
Do I have to change my "Andy" voice wav files to match the new formats? |

Try downloading the databse again but make sure you select UK as those files look like they are for a different country as there is no UK part in the file name - Mike |

As I stated, I used Ash's Camera Manager to download the database and there is no option about choosing a country. I have now downloaded the database without using Camera Manager and I get the correct files. It would appear to be a problem with Camera Manager |

There is if you download the latest version which is Version 3.
This appears to be correct for users with Ash10s Camera Manager as it's part of the new system where MPH and KPH files can be combined into one file.
Have a read of this thread where the changes are announced.
You will have to alter the voice files to make them work or follow the link in the annoucement to download a utility which will generate the new voice files. |

One other thought. Would it not be a good idea to standardise on file format i.e. the use of upper and lower case characters and the use of only alpha or numeric characters for speed. |

Ash10s Camera Manager is a project outside of PGPSW but which does use PGPSW data through your subscription. Issues with the Camera Manager need to be addressed in the Camera Manager thread above as the output from CM is decided by Ash10. |
