Not positioned right

First posting on site,can't find this already in forum so will ask but if it is somewhere then no doubt people will point it out (hopefully).

Currently using tom tom nav 3 with my ipaq 2210 and connected to a garmin geko 201, communicating through nmea 4800. Problem = my position on the map is out by about 100 metres, this is with 6+ sats showing and an accuracy of about 10 metres, how do I resolve this issue?

Set the datum on the Garmin to WGS84. You've probably got it set to something else (like OSGB) - hence the issue.
