Just downloaded the latest version. When I start the app I now get a message that there are no maps activated. Anybody else got this problem? _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |

Just had the following reply from Navmii support:-
Choose to view installed maps - click on the un-activated map - register with your iTunes email address.
Sorry this isn’t made clear anywhere in the documentation.

And still no sign of the option to update the PGPSW cameras in-app. _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |

Actually........routing seems to have improved quite a bit in the new version.
It also includes automatic day/night mode and detours.
Moving in the right direction for sure. |

I bought Navmii 1.3 for the first time yesterday and I'm quite impressed so far, can't go wrong for the money!
Since I'd never had a version that did not require map activation it all seemed logical to me to go to the map and activate it, I can see if you'd never done it previously it could be confusing.
Previously I've used TomTom Navigator 6 on a PDA and an old TomTom one, so advanced features such as lane guidance I don't miss since I've never had them. I did however, exchange a few emails with them yesterday with a list of features I like to see and they all seem to be in the scope of their development roadmap :-)
It's refreshing to see a company that replies to email queries in hours rather and you getting a stock "we aim to answer your query in xx days" |
