M25 Western Section Cameras

FYI

For the first time since they were introduced I saw one of the M25 cameras actually flash (twice, as they do) this morning.

This was at J15 anti-clockwise (M4).

I had just joined at J15 and 2 cars came barrelling past in the 3rd lane and off went the flash.

First thing I thought of was 1st Oct, have they just activated them ?

From then on almost everyone was considerably slower than normal on this section. Maybe it has caught a few more out.

Normally, as I do 70 between J15 and j11 (Chertsey) I am continually overtaken by the outside lane 80mph+ brigade, but not this morning, nothing caught me up so presumably everyone was doing 70.
