|
|
I've just done an update via TomTom Home to my Go 540, including mapshare and fuel prices.
Something has deleted the FuelStationsEU.bmp file from the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland map directory between me taking a backup yesterday and the update today. I don't see how I could have done it!
There are no corrupt files on the device (chkdsk), so thats not it - has this happened to anyone else ?
This POI icon showed a fuel pump with a dollar sign in front, now I just see a fuel pump - which actually looks better.
I know its trivial but I don't like randomly disappearing files - has the update decided this file isn't needed anymore?
EDIT:
Oh, Its OK - I see why it's missing - that icon is not in the latest fuel stations cab file !! |

More info please!
I've got over a hundred fuel price downloads in my Home folder (My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\fuelprice). I haven't examined them all, but trying a few at random, none of the .cab files have any icons obvious. Each .cab just seems to have 8 .fpf files all with names like FuelStationsEU.12.fpf |

Its in HOME\Download\complete\poi\Fuel_Prices_Europe___Update_petrol_stations and there is a FuelStationsEU.cab file
Note that its a separate file and folder to the fuel prices download!
The older one I have (dated 15/08/2009) has the bmp file, the newer one (dated 15/09/2009) doesn't. These seem to get updated less frequently (monthly by the look of it) than the petrol prices. |
