Possible silly question inside...

Hi guys,

I use my Satmap for biking. What i need to know is how to plot a route as i'm riding around? Now again i ride with other guys that know the spoecific area well so what i want to able to do is to take the Satmap with and it pinpoints/plots my route as i ride. I'm sure it is easy but i'm not sure how?

I'm not sure I follow you on this. Provided you press start on the trip log page the unit will record your trail. At the end of the ride press stop, then go to Main Menu/Routes Menu and select Convert trail to track. You can then export the GPX file using Satsync.
You can look at this route using various packages and can import it back into the Satmap when required.

... Or you can use Satsync and COPY (not export) the latest My Track nn Raw.gpx file - which is the complete track log. The number "nn" increases each time. This file - unless you have modified the settings - will contain a log of your position for each second and can be imported into many PC based mapping applications (eg MemoryMap).
