Hi,
I wonder if somebody could help explain why on my 940 display I get uneven colour/shade which is quite noticeable. Please see image.

It's normal and part of the 3D effect.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I must say if this is normal i'm quite disappointed after spending this amount of money. I've migrated from a Garmin 660 which did not have this annoying problem.

Recent software "improvements" did make them much more noticeable. |

Yeah but to be honest on the scale of things i haven't found it half as annoying as the list of problems i had with my last Garmin unit.... And once you "learn" to ignore it you realise the TomTom display is much better than the Garmin one, esp for seeing POIs coming up when travelling at speed on motorways etc |
