Have a XDA2 & would like to be able to use it as a portabe/In Car Sat Nav system in several cars for use in GB.

At present it only has its internal 128Mb, but will buy a 256 or 512Mb SD card.

Considering TomTom3 - but WHAT hardware do I need?

Advice appreciated

Simple, an sd card, BT GPS, if you go for TomTom go for the BT (bluetooth) one.

You can receive a call on your BT headset at the same time as using you BT GPS. There is an o2xda update, download it from the o2 site. You'll also need a mount for the xda and power lead for both xda and gps. The power lead is adviseable if are away from home as the gps will need rechargeing after around 8 hours of use.

Hi Alix, thanks for your advice; bought TT3 BT + 256MB Kningson SD card from www.ebuyer.com

Can't find a cable 'in stock' yet though; everyone keeps saying 'call back'
