But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

OK Setup is as follows.
Tom Tom 3.01 (409) GB
GPS V3.02 414/406
Checkpoint 3.2
Rikaline GPS-6010 (Wired)
IPAQ 3870 Pocket PC 2002
Integral 256mb SD Card
The problem is the first time I navigate to an address no problem, I arrive leave the car do my work etc, get back to the car, power on the IPAQ everything looks OK, press the Navigate button and nothing happens, press the navigate button again and it returned to the normal screen, I can never get back to the location serach screen until I soft reset the IPAQ.

Hi David,
Two suggestions:
1. Have you tried closing TTNav3 (either Map screen: File | Exit or Navigator screen: Navigator Menu | Exit application icon) before switching off the 3870?
2. If the address that you’ve navigated to is far enough away from a known road (as far as TTNav is concerned) then it (TTNav) won’t start to calculate the route until you’re close to the road. I think the distance is about 5 to 10 metres maximum. If possible and safe to do so, get closer to a public road and then try to navigate by hitting the Navigate button.
