I saved my voices into ogg files using Audacity. I downloaded the viftool and printed the instructions on how to use it. I followed everything, letter by letter and nothing. Can someone help? |

Have you seen This Topic?
It might give you some pointers on any problems.
There are several mentions of viftool on the site. Do a Search. _________________ Richard

Hi Lunatic2U
I have not used VifTool but I just looked it up on the Net, it looks very involved.
What TomTom do you have? Some TT's already have the function to record your own voice for the directions and, if your TT does, I think this method could be less troublesome. To see if your TT can, goto -
- TT Menu - Change Preferences - Voice Preferences - Record Voice,
then follow the instructions from there.
If "Record Voice" is greyed out, ensure that "Enable Recorded Voice" is not selected.
If it is not the voices for directions you are wanting to change, post back with a description of what voices you are trying to convert. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
