I just got myself a BC-307 and when I plug it into my iPAQ 2210 running pocket pc 2003 I get a message saying “Unrecognized card. Enter the name of the device driver for this card.”
What should I enter the name as?
Any help would be most appreciated |

Unfortunately a lot of the GlobalSat's did have problems with WM2003. I'm not sure if this has been fixed in a firmware update. |

You can usually find the firmware version by connecting direct to the GPS and checking the NMEA stream coming back. Before the stream initialises it will come up with the bios and firmware version, you can do this in WinFast Navigator.
GPS's don't usually come with user upgradable firmware so the only resort is to have it replaced by the manufacturer. |

Or by using GPSTweak and switching to SiRF mode and polling the firmware version.....
in my case 231.00.000.00ES (whatever that means - I mean in terms of 'currentness') |
