I've just bought a Nuvi 5000 to replace my Michelin X980T, on which I can get free speed camera updates.
My question is, can I download the speed camera database from here onto the Nuvi 5000. I appreciate that the list does show "All Nuvi", but I just want clarification that the 5000 is included and that I can download to it. |

Can I be very cheeky?
The manuals are a bit sparse and I wondering what the purpose of the mini USB connector on the back of the unit and also on the back of the cradle.
I've assumed that they are for an external power supply as it does not have an internal battery.
I'm not looking forward to updating the maps and speed cameras, the manuals don't help at all. |
