Does anyone know which files I have to delete to completely remove the old TomTom speed camera database off my 720 so I can just have the PGPSW ones? _________________ TTG 720

See No 13 in the TomTom FAQs, which can be found at the top of the TomTom Portable Navigation Devices forum. _________________ Anita

Sorry to be thick (which I know I can be!) but the latest TomTom HOME (v 2.7.3.1984 does not have an icon for "remove items from my Go" [If there is then I can't see it] (The FOI refers to version 2.3)
How do you manage this on this latest version of HOME?
Isn't there a way to delete the cameras file from the device simply by deleting a file - if there is can someone please let me know the name of the file(s) concerned? (probably the most version proof method if it works!) _________________ Furry Fred

It's in Home's Page 2 - 'Manage my Device' - 'Items on Device' tab - select the items to be removed using the tickboxes then the 'Remove items from device' button is at the bottom.
That should get you sorted.

Strangely enough, I produced a list in another topic only a couple of days ago.....
The files are all in the relevant map folder and for my 940 (using the LIVE services camera subscription) the UK ones are:
Safety_Cam_UK_Premium.ov2
Safety_Cam_UK_Premium.ov2.dct
Safety_Cam_UK_PremiumOv2.ver
I guess the ones on a 720 will have pretty similar names, maybe without the "premium".
Also, there may well be lots of European ones with names like:
Autovelox_IT_TomTom
Blitzer_AT_TomTom.ov2 (and CZ, DE etc.)
Fartkamera_SE_TomTom.ov2 - (yeah, I know! )
Fartsboks_NO_TomTom.ov2
Flitspaal_NL_TomTom.ov2
Kamerat_FI_TomTom.ov2
Radar_BE_TomTom.ov2
Finally, you might also have the European premium camera files: Safety_Cam_DE_Premium.ov2.dct (and FR, NL etc.) |

Managed to find it - it comes under the Points of Interest tab under the Items on device - then you select the ones you want to get rid of! _________________ Furry Fred
