Hi
Have a 540 and just updated to App v8.35
When I try and access any live services I get the following error flash up on screen (displayed in same fashion as a traffic update).
"Script error 10 Missing fundamental attribute for - Text Message"
Any idea what's causing it and how to solve?

I have never seen that flash up on my units, have you tried resetting it? Press and hold the on/ off switch until the device restarts with a drum roll, you won't lose any settings doing this - Mike |

Did you manage to resolve the error as I'm getting the same one now when trying to renew Live Services subscription? |

I renewed my LIVE sub via TomTom Home and it sorted itself out after that - seems the unit and the servers get out of sync and confused leading to the strange error (i.e. your device thinks sub still active but servers say it's run out when it tries to connect).
TT agreed the error message was not a useful one but as it seems rather rare I don't think they'll bother sorting it.
Hope that solves it for you.
EDIT: Just read your other post and like me it seems related to expiry of your payment method - at a guess they aren't sending the message to the device that it's ended like they do when they expire normally which causes the confusion. I had the same errors on the device (expire in 0 days, etc. as you described). |

Thanks for the update Skwark. As Home tells me my 940 is not compatible with Live Services I have asked TomTom to sort it out.
I am now wondering which they will be able to do first, fix this or release the iPhone app? I'm not banking on either any time soon. |
