First post, thought I was pretty much OK, but have had major issue with my TT 910. Had to resort to backup as got unable to store map positions - file read errors. Did that from home (dumb!) then discovered that my backup did not contain my maps. (Europe and USA!!) TT help desk was helpful - told me to buy new maps. Big lesson learned.
Now have version 7.903 on 910 and Map version 830.2307
Now have a map (Western Europe) but have lost all the UK voices as well, only have American, (I now know what a rotary is).
I have downloaded all the latest speed cameras and 24x24 icons and voice activated warning for speed zone complete and did the usual copy into the map directory.
Problems:
1. Can only see traffic light cameras in POI's although all are in the map directory
2. No spoken warning (put the ogg files in as required)
3. My navigator voice used to give full message such as "turn right onto A303 towards London and follow for 32.4 miles". I now get "Turn Right". Any hope of getting back what I had?
Any help is gratefully received, as I am now beginning to doubt my sanity! |

It sounds like your LoquendoTTS folder is either missing or messed up, can you confirm you have this folder on the device by using Windows Explorer, if its present right click the folder and select properties as I want to know what the folder size is.
If its named "loquendotts" also let us know this and the folder size, also where in the UKare you located as someone might be able to burn a DVD with the required file set as they are nearly 4GB for a full folder with the 910 - Mike |

For the camera and warnings problems, can you list all the files you have in the new map folder which start with "PocketGPS..."?
There's a little utility called DriveZ which can make a list for you if you don't want to type out all the names yourself. Make sure you tick the box to show the three letter extensions. |
