When you download the maps does it use some sort of Download Manager type program? |

How big is it? If it's around 3gb, then rename it to be a .exe file and run it.
What it looks like is instructions for the Garmin download manager. Did you successfully download and install that (I think it's an activeX file).
I just got a 765T as well and applied the upgrade - mine worked fine as long as I followed all the instructions.

IIRC, when I downloaded the North American update, Adobe download manager was used. If this is also the case for the European maps, a .dlm file file is the result of an incomplete download. Re-do the download and the download manager will resume where it was interrupted. |

Burn180, you're welcome. It happens... I also had file corruption recently with a Microsoft Windows 7 download, but only lost an hour |

So version 11 is out now is it?
My map info says Unlk/Reg Sheet,CNE NT 2010.10 3DB+JV. This is from the MyMaps section of the MyGarmin pages on their website. Whenever I go the Manage Maps section, it tells me there are no updates available, despite being signed up for the Lifetime Maps.
Another odd thing, is that whenever I go to the MyGarmin page I always get the 'Activate NuMaps Lifetime Europe' bit dropping down, but I've already activated it! Does anyone else experience this before I go whining to Garmin? |

Sorry the update I was installing was CNE NT 2010.10 3DB+JV I'm not sure when the new update is out. But I do hope it fixes the road changes in my area. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 3790T Firmware 4.30

Just a quickie question here from a new Nuvi 200 owner with the same map as above downloaded.
I notice that the map file is like 3gig in size, and my Nuvi 200 only has a capacity of 1.4gig total. I assume it doesn't attempt to install the full 3gig into the unit? |
