Hello, does anyone know how to turn off the TomTom speed camera updates in home when I update the device. A list of countries camera updates comes up each time I connect and I use the PGPSW ones! |

No, you'll have to untick them every time or just let them download anyway but leave them switched off. |

If you use the Remove from Device function in Home does that not stop them being offered? I don't seem to get them any more after i removed mine? |

Oh... maybe...
But hang on.
Surely you only get offered them if you have subscribed to them, and if you've paid for them isn't it worth having them?
And if you've deleted them once, then change your mind, is there no way to re-start the downloads if you aren't offered them any more? |

If you subscribe to the HD Services you can't pick and choose which aspects you want, it's an all or nothing deal, so you get the TT Camera Database even if you don't want it..... I did ask TomTom why you can't pick which aspects you use and only pay for them. Still waiting for the reply...

If you use Home to move the databases back to the device the downloads start again. Well as far as i saw last week when i was messing about.... My HD Services sub ran out this morning and i've not got round to renewing yet but when i do i'll test this again. |
