I've yet to be convinced of the merits of QuickGPS...waste of time IMHO. My HD fires up in seconds...whether that's here in the UK, Australia, the US, Hong Kong...Spain and France next week.No problems at all. |

I haven't downloaded it since Feb 2008 and never had problems getting satellite fixes quickly - three devices, TTN6, GO920T and GO700 all get fixes before I pull out of my drive (I wait for them to do so, but the first two have acquired before I finish tapping nav instructions into the third). _________________ Dennis

I'd have to agree. It may have been of use in the old days with slow chipsets but now it causes more issue than it solves. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I agree with this,

As an occasional user I think it has its uses?
How is it I can remember this from Aug '08 and I forgot the anniversary card |

If you send anniversary cards at nine months, your wife must be well impressed. We'll forgive you here if you promise to do it annually.
My three devices rarely go more than two days unused, including weekends (at my age, somebody else given directions for the way home is a nice kindly touch). _________________ Dennis
