I've been using Mapsonic for a few weeks now. Here are the bugs that I think I've found so far:-

1: I can't navigate using any parameter setting other than Car + Quickest Path. If I go to Parameters and select Pedestrian + Shortest path I can define a departure point and an arrival point and calculate a corresponding 'pedestrian' path. If I then enter navigation mode and look at the parameter setting, they've reverted to Car + Quickest path. This a nuisance because if I leave a motorway because of congestion and want to navigate through small streets, Mapsonic tries hard in Car + Quickest path mode to get me back onto the motorway that I've just left.

2: When in navigation mode, as I approach a junction I hear an advanced warning: 'In 200 metres turn left', then, later, and instruction: 'turn left'. If I put Mapsonic into 'miles per hour' mode there is no advanced warning, just the instruction. This is a nuisance because I live in the UK.

If anyone confirm the above remarks, or tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful. Maybe others have found other bugs to add to the list.

Another bug:

3) If I change the speeds associated with the different class of road, the values I enter don't 'stick', and they revert to the default values.

Confirm the voice warning thing in miles.
They just haven't bothered to re-record the prompts for "yards" instead of meters. Crying or Very sad
