Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to make the maps on the screen stay larger after using the + key in the top right hand side once the unit is switch off and back on.

Not sure about GO 300 but try to find ''Automatic preferences' in 'Change preferences' and disable. You may need to 'Show ALL menu options' if you have not already done so

Cannot find any with "Automatic" display setting at all,
it's a neighbors and he said the map use to bigger !!

On v8 software the option is called "Automatic zooming" and it is currently on page 4 of 8 on my Go 720's preferences menu.
Tapping it gives a single option screen "Automatic zooming in Driving view" - enable - disable.
But I don't think the option is available on v7 software (which is the latest for the Go300). You can zoom in or out with the + and - buttons, but it will always revert back to its preferred setting after a few seconds.
You should find it automatically zooms in at junctions etc. though... |
