I have downloaded some POI files, which come down as POIs with no file type extension. I wish to use these with IGO 8, can someone please explain what I need to do convert them to a useable file type

You will need to give us a bit more to go on, if we're to give you any meaningful help.
Which File type did you select? OV2 or CSV.
You should end up with a zip file called POIs.zip, unless you used the Show Link option when the file name will also include a number.
How many Categories, or Subcategories, did you select in the Download? There is a limit with the OV", but there should be no problem with CSV.
Did you try to download again? Sometimes a file gets corrupted. _________________ Richard

I downloaded both types OV2 and CSV. this gave me POIs.zip but after extraction I just had a file POIs with no file type to it.
Tried it just for one Category trying 3 different Categories all giving same result.
