Hi all.
I have got software running fine on my Sony Ericsson k750i and now am looking for a GPS receiver.
Have been thinking of a cheap Pharos pt110 which is a iGPS-360 receiver.
Now as I know nothing about these things - will this receiver be ok?
I know its SiRF StarII not III but does that matter?
Also is 12 channel ok?
Would MUCH appreciate somebody letting me know if this will be suitable for me please.
********Please note though: I only need this to track my walking hikes and not for car use.
Here is the spec and I thank you greatly for any replies.
regards.

Whilst the unit you describe above will work you don't mention budget? - I would have a look at something like This which is a far more capable receiver, with incredible battery life even when compared to the most modern devices - Mike |

many thanks Mike!!!
My budget is basicly nil - I am having to sell stuff to buy the receiver.
The phone navigation and tracking software is free and so I am looking for a cheap and cheerful receiver that will do for me for the coming summer with the hope of getting a better one in the future.
The pt110 I mentioned will cost £20 and so it is obviously alot cheap then the one you mentioned (even tho that itself is cheap).
As I say - it is just for walking and so does not need to have bells and whistles - I just want to be able to track my mileage of walk, speed, times (etc)
Cheers mate and appreciate your comments. :-)
