I am looking for a satnav where I can put in up to 30 locations and the unit will work out the best route to take. Is there anything available out there?

Have a look at this thread first - also do a Search on words like 'optimum' & 'route' to see if there's anything else. Quote: | Multiple drops routeing . |

Nav'N'Go iGO software will do that for you, enter all the drops, click on optimise and it'll show you the best route (either Fastest, Shortest, Economical or Easiest (least turns). If the next day/week the drops are similar you can save the route then, if necessary, add some extra drops and/or delete those not required, optimise again and it'll work out the best route.
The software is not cheap but is very good and works on many devices. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Any of the GArmin nuvi 7x0's, 7x5's, 8x0's 8x5's or 5000 will alos handle it natively. I've had better success and more efficient optimization with the Garmin version compared to the iGo implimentation. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |
