The bottom left hand window on my Garmin 760t when first installed used to display alternate estimated arrival time and current speed !
Now it only displayes estimated time of arrival !
Any ideas ?

The 760T has only ever shown the Speed when you don't have a route planned and the Estimated Time of Arrival when you do.
It's never alternated between the two. |

Can't see it myself. Do you have a page number? What does it actually say?
In the year I've owned one and through Firmwares 2.60 to 4.60 it's never alternated this information. |

I'm not clear on what you are saying happens. I took your opening post to mean as you drove along you saw it alternate between the speed and estimated time of arrival, if you had a route planned. I've never seen this in a year of ownership and through various firmwares.

What's the difference? They both sound like you have a route plotted.

That's because the same window shows the speed if you have no route plotted and the arrival time if you do have a route plotted. It doesn't state anything about it alternating as per your opening post.
I'm really sorry but can you clarify the problem / question as I'm having difficulty understanding what's wrong.
What does it show when a route is planned?
What does it show when a route is NOT planned? |

Following on from what has already been said on this thread, when I plan a route it shows arrival time. When I dont plan a route it shows speed.
Can I get the left corner window to show speed when I plan a route?
