There surely isn't room on a 760 for the whole of Europe and the whole of North America...

If there's no Postcode option, it sounds like you just have the N.A. maps. Did you download Europe first and then overwrite it with NA?

If you've somehow managed to get both loaded, you will have a GMAPPROM.IMG and a GMAPPROM1.IMG in the \Garmin directory.

I suspect you only have GMAPPROM.IMG. If so, the solution will involve restoring your Backup, or otherwise, contacting Garmin.

I assuming that you did make a Backup before you started...Garmin don't provide one with the unit....

So restoring the backup, is basically the reverse of what you did to make it....

Can we confirm what map files are currently on the unit?

What files with a .IMG extension are present in the Nüvi's \Garmin directory?

What maps are enabled - in "Settings | Map | Map info"? (I think that's right - I don't have a 760 in front of me).
