Probably a camera sits just off the motorway, the tomtoms will sound a camera alert even if the camera is not directly on your route. If there is a camera nearby, the alert will sound! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

Have you got the warnings for "over speed limit" or "faster than certain speed" set? Sorry, don't have it with me so not sure exactly what the options are called. _________________ Gerry

It would help to know what warnings you have set for the PGPSW speed cameras. Do any of those use "Polite 2".
Do you have the TomTom-supplied camera data on your machine as well? Often an update can eem to turn the alerts for those on again, and I've sometimes had those sounding an alert with no icon showing on-screen.
Check the settings for those in 'TomTom Services' or 'Plus Services' |

Usually, there is a trial version of the TomTom cameras installed already when you buy a machine.
I don't have a ONE so I'm guessing it will be the same or similar to my menu layouts on Go's, but do you not have a menu item called just "TomTom Services" or "Plus Services" in the main menu? (not in the Preferences sub-menu).
That should give you a sub-menu for the TT safety cameras, even if it is greyed-out though not having any files. |
